Andera Crosses

    Andera Cross Model #0- This relatively plain botonee cross is decorated by a roundel on each lobe. Excluding the base, it is four feet high.

    Andera Cross Model #1 - The primary features are the skull and crossbones and the angel supporting the inscription plate. Excluding the base, the cross is four feet, eight inches high. The inscription plate is bolted on and may or may not be marked, "C.A." or "C. Andera" This cross is also found with an abstract design substituting for the skull and crossbones. A few were finished in black but most are silver. Base may be stone or metal.

    Andera Cross Model #2 - Identical to #1 except that an abstract design replaces the skull and cross bones.

    Andera Cross Model #3 - The smallest of the Andera crosses, it's identifying feature is the wreath of roses encircling either a reclining lamb. It may or may not have a corpus. Excluding the base, the cross is three feet, nine inches high. Most are marked "C. Andera" on the back below the name plate. Base may be of metal or stone.

    Andera Cross Model #4 - Identifying features are the small cross at the apex , the heart at the intersection, the lattice work and the rose decorations on the arms. Excluding the base, this marker is four feet, seven inches high.

    Andera Cross Model #5 - The distinct identifying features are the fleurs-de-lis extremities and the heart resting on a cherub. Excluding base, which may be metal or stone, this cross is five feet, two inches high. Markings which have been found on the #5 model include Andrea's initials, his name, date of manufacture, "No. 5", or the outline of a cross.

    Andera Cross Model #5X - This cross is a Model 5 with an ornate metal base which features a Lamb of God.

    Andera Cross Model #5XX - Same as 5X but with a statue in a tabernacle between the cross and the base. Statue may be the Virgin Mary of the Sacred Heart of the Virgin Mary of the Rosary. Total height is ten feet. Look for mark on the back of the heart.

    Andera Cross Model #6 - The base of this grave marker features a name plate flanked by two angels above a bas relief of the Madonna.

    Andera Cross Model #7 - Primary identifying features are two figures at the base of the #5 style cross and the chalice above the Pascal lamb on the base. Total height is ten feet.

    Andera Cross Model #8 - A chapel-like image at the foot of the cross holds the inscription plate. The base, as pictured, is decorated with an inset botonee cross and may be of concrete or metal, Height overall is seven feet, three inches.
