The 2nd Bomb Sqdn. reunion in Tampa (FL)should be an excellent choice for those who will be attending as they would be only a short travel distance to "Fantasy of Flight" an aircraft collection at Polk City. The B-26 on display was built in 1940 and was #103 off the production line. It had crash landed in in February of 1940 as it was on a flight to Yukon Territory in Alaska. It was salvaged by Dave Tallichet in 1970. It took twenty years to restore with less than only having thirty (30)hours of flight time on the frame. As many Marauder veterans are aware, it was flown to "Fantasy of Flight" in 1997 and is the only one capable of flight now owned by Kermit Weeks.
