I regret to report the death of my father, George H. Spaulding, Maj, USAF (Ret), a pilot with the 33rd Squadron from Aug 41 until May/June 42. While with the squadron, he flew the B-18, A-17 and B-26. He died during emergency heart surgery the morning of May 25, 2002 in Colorado Springs without ever receiving a response to his email of April 15. Nevertheless, he enjoyed this web site and appreciated those who keep it going.
